Sky Fall

Moving an energy drink upmarket without losing the audience that made it — the tiger stays, everything around it gets richer.

Brief, strategy and outcome are from tasarist.net, captured 2026-09-07. Unlike the other case studies here, no corporate figures are published for this brand — no owner, distribution or share data — so this band carries project facts only rather than a manufactured equivalent.

The brief

Sky Fall is an energy drink brand that draws its energy from the younger generation, Gen Z in particular. It wanted a premium position without losing the tiger it is known by.

The client’s brief, as recorded by the studio on tasarist.net (captured 2026-09-07).

Premium, without abandoning the audience.

Sky Fall takes its energy from a young audience, Gen Z in particular. The brief was the one every challenger brand eventually faces: look more expensive, without looking like it now belongs to someone else.

The answer starts with what was not changed. The tiger symbol was refined rather than replaced, because it is the thing the audience already recognizes and trusts; throwing it out would have bought a premium look at the cost of the brand’s only shortcut into the shopper’s memory.

What changed is everything holding it: gold accents for luxury, a deep navy ground to give them somewhere to sit, and the tiger pattern integrated through the system so the brand reads as a world rather than a logo on a can. The result is a modern, powerful design language and a can that stands apart in a category where volume normally substitutes for confidence.
