Endemic Verse

A fragrance brand built to answer one question — and built roughly 90% with AI, two years before every studio said they were doing it.

The MUSE and World Brand Design Society results are the record this site’s own awards table carries for Endemic Verse Cologne; the A′ Design Award is as listed on tasarist.net, captured 2026-09-07. The edition size and the ~90% figure are the studio’s own published description of how the project was made — they are not sales figures, and no sales figure is published for this project.

The brief

How can we make Generation Z love a dusty category like cologne?

The brief, as recorded by the studio on tasarist.net (captured 2026-09-07). This one is the studio’s own question, not a client’s: Endemic Verse is a self-initiated Tasarist project, created to be shown rather than commissioned.

A brand the studio built to prove a point.

Endemic Verse is not client work, and it is worth saying so first. Tasarist created the brand itself, in 2022, to test whether a category Gen Z has written off — cologne, a shelf of heritage bottles and heritage typefaces — could be made desirable again by building it the way that audience already lives.

So the studio built it that way. Roughly 90% of the brand was generated with AI: Rytr for the name, the range architecture and the marketing copy, Midjourney for the imagery that ended up on the bottles. In 2022 that was not a workflow anyone was announcing; it was an experiment with a deadline.

What came out is a metaverse-native fragrance line of three scents — Dreamy Red Petals, Purple Sky Dream and Dreams in Blue — each capped at 999 pieces, each purchase carrying a unique AI-generated NFT with its own flower, which the buyer can print onto merchandise or simply keep and share. The physical object and the digital one are the same product.

The design does the rest: black glass, holographic lettering, and artwork that looks grown rather than drawn. It reads as native to a generation the category had stopped speaking to — and it was recognized by three international juries.
